Message notifications#128

Would love to see a little number or star or something pop up on the Messages link in the sidebar if there are unread messages there (like it does on a smart phone app).

I do get the email notifications but often by the time I’ve logged on to Eequ and dealt with new registrations, booking date changes, refunds or whatever else, it’s gone straight out of my head. Because I’m so used to notifications from using other apps, my brain just automatically goes “if there isn’t a number there then there’s nothing new there to look at”.

It would be so helpful to have that visual reminder that there are new messages waiting to be seen.

Thanks so much for taking the time to vote. Did you notice the toggle at the top of your message page. If you switch it off you will see only personal messages. Does this help?
(I realise that an APP notifiation would be ideal)

Hello everyone that has voted for message notifications. I hope you will have seen the new Messages Page.
Improvements include:

• Notifications in the menu
• Sorted by last individual messages (not system messages)
• Mark as Read or Unread to handle your task list.
